I want to go on Vacation. Where should I go?

My wife and I saved $1000 after a couple years. We would like to go on vacation. Our first vacation ever. Where should we go so we stay within budget?

Nathan, Ellie, May and Bryce are four normal teenagers.
Until they board their flight to Hawaii, that is. They just want a normal, exciting vacation with no problems... but of course, they get the exact opposite...
They wake up to a sunny, beautiful day on the plane they boarded last night, but something is terribly, terribly wrong. A ginormous, evil-looking black sting ray is driving the plane. It's almost impossible... it doesn't have thumbs... so how is this happening?
All the other passengers have vanished, and they're the only people left on the entire plane. The sting ray gets up from its chair, and the plane appears to be on auto-pilot. Creepy because this plane never had an auto-pilot option. The monster swims up to the four teenagers, drifting its underside up so its mouth is showing, with its wings coming down to look like a whispering black cape.
Their species is called the Yarx, plural and singular. They live deep inside an ocean trench, inside an air bubble at the bottom, because the Yarx have lungs, not gills. The Yarx are extremely smart... maybe even smarter and more powerful than humans... they don't know... this is why they're kidnapping these four teenagers... to put them through an extremely hard, deadly, painful opstacle cource, and compare their results with the Yarx species. This cource has water, fire, earth, ice, darkness, and sunlight stages, each with a menacing boss at the end. If the humans perform poorly, the Yarx species will kill them, then try to rule the world...

There is also romance throughout the book. Tell me what you think :)

I'm in a creative writing class, and I love to write.
But because its a class, it makes it so much harder to write because I feel like it won't be any good.
What makes a story interesting? How does a story draw a reader in?

I'm writing a story about a 21 year old artist who comes to his old hometown for a vacation and runs into an old friend who's become a recluse. when they were younger, she was best friends with his brother who died in a car accident, since that day they never really saw her, because they move but now He tries to help her come out of her shell and tries to understand why she became the way she became. In the end, they find out that she was never able to let him(the brother) go and has even made up a projection of him in her imagination.
of course there's detail, its gonna be 10 pages. the summary sounds gray, but its just like a tv summary.

what makes a story boring and what makes a story interesting?
been gone about 7 years. the brother died about 7 years ago and his family couldn't stay there. its his old hometown because he hasn't been there since 15, and already has his first degree :) he's young but has a famous cartoon online with a good fan base.
some young people have tiny head starts when they have a passion. he's not incredibly mature of course, but I think 7 years is a while. Enough to have a different mind set.

Alright, so i started my period about a week ago and i have a family vacation coming up on Friday, i think i might have my period by then but just to make sure let me ask a quick question. So, i'm not allowed to wear tampons nor wear menstrual cups. Is there any way possible that i can get in the pool. Ive been looking forward for this event forever and i can't miss the fun! Does this mean that I am expected to never take a day off (even holidays) and if I do, I am not paid?

I'm going on a month long trip out of country, and I can't find anyone to feed them. Is there any food that can "planted" so they'll have some when they get desperately hungry. I have 3 goldfish in a 70 gallon tank. It already is heavily planted..

I'm going on vacation with my EX husband, I'm very excited. Am I being stupid?

We separated 6 months ago, I wasn't happy in our marriage & wanted out, I believe in my heart he was cheating & I just didn't trust him. I ended up moving 2 hours away, changing my number & just starting my life over. Since we separated he has been e-mailing me consistently trying to work things out, when my birthday passed he wished me a happy birthday & 3 days later he sent me the song that we danced to at our wedding. I never replied.

Exactly a month ago my sister passed away, my EX husband has been sending condolences, I haven't been replying except to say "Thank You" well a week or so ago he e-mailed me sending condolences again, then asked me what would I say if he asked me to go on vacation with him, I was speechless, I asked him why me & he said "Because I love you" He's asking me to go to Florida. I am really not sure what do to, So I suggested a one day vacation instead & he agreed. He said he loves me & just wants to spend time with me, then he said "Remember when I told my dad that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, I meant it" so I agreed to a weekend vacation, but somewhere local, after I told him that he booked the hotel room immediately. I started to second guess & to where so I told him my fears, he sent comforting words & told me to continue to think about it.

I decided to go, & we have been talking & i'm getting very excited. I want to look cute, dress nice & show him the new me. Am I being overly excited? Were going to watch a dolphin show, take a ride in a helicopter, comedy shows. We leave in 3 days, were staying for 3 nights 4 days. Is it OK that i'm excited? Am I joking myself?

How do you feel about being environmental on a daily basis?

For example, sorting things out in the blue, green, garbage bin.
Or avoiding playing with fireworks.
Or avoiding going to a ton of vacations that uses planes.
Or just smaller things like littering, using less paper towel, or stuff like that.
Me too. I've tried to be aware of my actions once I was "enlightened". But those "elderly" people are too "traditional" and is quite annoying to try to talk any sense into them. They always go with the "I've done this all these years and it works, why should I change now?"

my mom need a vacation, and she needs to get out of a Rado and go to Virginia. And she's buying a round trip ticket for $500. So with that being said, is it possible that she can buy the ticket add a discount in my name since I'm a member of the army?

Opinions on long distance relationships?

So I met this guy 2 months ago online - there is a sea separating us, but my homecountry is 2 hours away from him, so we basically have the same background - Easter Europeans. Since day one, we have not stopped talking. First it was only chatting but looking at each other on cam, but after a few weeks it was only Skype talks without chatting. We haven't chatted less than 5 hours any day. Till this day, we have only missed talking about 3-4 days. We sent letters for our "meeting anniversary", basically talking about our feelings and everything we want to. We have gotten used to each other, that we don't even turn off the computers for his morning/night or mine. He is 19 and i am 17..the problem is - we will meet in my homecountry in 2 months, because i am going there for summer vacation. He wants to come for a week or two, which is great - we have already made plans for our time together. But, recently he has told me that he is scared he will fall in love with me when he meets me - we just told each other that we like one another. We practically wake up, go to bed and spend hours of our days on the internet...it is crazy. But i just can't stop. he seems like a great guy and i feel so comfortable with him! I have always been the one strongly against long distance relationships - they just seem impossible to me. With a sea separating us, this seems impossibly hard and only a heartache. I am scared of getting my heart broken, as i tend to get attached way too easily and fall too hard. Spending time with him will be great and that is what i am scared of. I don't know what to do. It seems like the only logical option is to stop talking, but i just can't right now. Opinions, advice, experience?

In the same way as when people say "When will this week be over, so that I can go on my vacation?"

If this is NOT their one and only concern, than, what does that say about them and about their ACTUAL belief in an afterlife?

I need an opinion.If you're watching Pretty Little Liars,I don't have to explain,my problem is JUST AS SAME as Aria and Ezra have,I mean all is the completely same.But if you don't,I'il be short-I met that guy in caffe,we talked and found out that we have sooo many same interests-in movies,books,and he was smart as I am.I could really talk with him,I mean he was so different and smarter than others.Not to mention smoking hot.We hooked up,I mean kissing,and we should see each other again (he's 25,I'm 18 - we have different school sistem,we graduate at 19,I mean this year).
I came to my school next Monday just to find out that he was our new English teacher (in my country English is a second language).Really sh*t situation.He told me after class that we can't do this and I agreed.But there was just too much intesion.We kissed again,and we said that that was it.But I had some problems,and he was the only one who was there to help.I said that I would never do anything to get gim into trouble (we were his first generation,he was so nervous and cute ^^),he thanked and said that I should go home.I agreed and went out,but then he opened the door,grabed my hand and kissed me.After that,I just left,without a word.I don't know what to do,I mean I met him before he was my teacher.We're on vacation now for two weeks and I'm gonna asking same question until someone gives me genius answer.xD And yeah,he asked to see me in this holiday,to talk about us.
P.S.Someone asked last time - Of course he's not married,he's just finished his faculty,he doesn't even has a girlfriend!He's not one of THAT guy,a womanizer who's trying to "do" every hot girl.He's shy and polite and reticent,like he is not aware of his good looking.I almost never fall for some guy,no metter how good he looks like,but he was so smart,I could REALLY talk to him about EVERYTHING.And again,we hooked up BEFORE he was my teacher,like you go to some club and meet some girl and kiss her after really great conversation.

Union Pacific Rail Road Train Crew?

I've applied and been accepted for my reading comp test. I'm very comfortable with that and I'm very mechanically inclined. I've worked manual labor my entire working life (19 yrs) and am currently working at a place I've been for 8 yrs. they announced layoffs Friday and it will put my seniority 80 people between me and the door paved to the unemployment office. By October I will be in a low-man position on seniority (non-union no CBA) and have an $11.00 pay cut putting me at $15.00hr and will either have to bid my way to the top again over some 2 or 3 years time, or yet possibly be totally cut and laid-off at that time or a couple months later. It's a roll of the dice I know. But I have a family now and want more security (my wife is behind me no matter my schedule) for my family's future. I understand the demand, but IS NOW A GOOD TIME to start a RR career and what are the chances I'm going to get laid off more than I'll work? I'm in the Kansas City area and I'm not sure how busy the hub is or yet the outlook for future "green rails". Someone at BNSF told me a lot of guys are retiring this year and I would assume the same for UP. Does anyone who currently works there have any insight for me? I understand its ultimately whats best for me but, man do I love a train and the thought of working on one, not to mention the smell of diesel smoke and creosote in the summer! Just hate to give up a little something I have now for a possible nothing, just because guys are on vacation in the summer and that's why I got a foot in the door. We've been dating just over a year now, we're both 20 and working as expats in a different country together for the past 9 months (came together)

All the signs are there that the relationship is over..
1. She feels distant even when around me
2. We fight regularly about the smallest things and upset each other with comments we make..
3. We don't have sex anymore. I'm the only one who tries to initiate and I seem to hear the word 'no' more regularly than a 3 year old lately.
4. She refrains from public affection.
5. She never tries doing anything sweet.. Actually she's never done that..
6. She stopped talking to me about things that bother her and opens up to a girl friend she's mentioned irritates her rather than talking to me...
7. She never compliments me, only in front of this girl and some of my guy friends and then it feels fake as if she's trying to get THEIR attention..
8. When we are alone she just sits or lies there... We have no connection

So pretty much as you can see it seems pretty much over...

Problem is... This has been going on more than a month heading closely for 2... I know it's over and I love her more than anything in the world, she says I am the best thing that's ever happened to her and that she can't imagine ever losing me.. But why don't I believe her?

We are going back to our country in 20 days for a 25 day vacation.. And for some reason I feel like she'll cheat on me and she's even joked about it but then says "come on you know I would never do that to you"..

Basically i need advice whether to stay with her.. Leave her (and if leave her, when? Now? During vacation or after?) or do I just let things die out as it seems this is what she wants...

I am very unhappy with my body?

I just hate my body I feel disgusting, like a big load of blubber, I have a HUGE, unflat, untoned, ugly gut and touching thighs. I am eating 1,200 calories a day, working out 6-7 days a week (cardio HIIT cardio, walking/jogging on treadmill, stomach exercises) and I am so sick of seeing my ugly fat self in the mirror. I want to show you want my body is like now so you can tell me if it is possible for me to really change my body within the next 30 days by doing that I listed above. I am going on vacation in just over 4 weeks, I could try and lose 2 pounds a week and I just want to be toned, fit, beautiful. Not chubby, flabby and disgusting.

I want to be Kate Upton's size on Sports Illustrated 2013.
